The number of baby boomer business owners who will soon be of retirement age is growing at a rapid rate. Globally, as many as 125,000 people celebrate their 65th birthdays every day -- a demographic trend that will continue for the next nineteen years. Richard Morris, principal of succession planning consultancy Resource for Ownership Intelligence, known as ROI Consulting, says the number of owners looking to sell or hand down their businesses to the next generation is larger now than at any other time in history.
