This week we speak with chief operating officer Kelly Thompson of micropayment stock imagery supplier iStockphoto. The company says it currently pays $1.7 million in artist royalties — every week. The Calgary, Alberta Getty Images subsidiary claims six million registered members worldwide, who download, on average, a file every second.
